Scrappers Notes:
It was a well played game by the Storm, who made several solid defensive plays to support a strong pitching effort.
The Scrappers started out strong, coming out swinging in the top of the 1st, as Evan drove in the first run of the game with a single to right field. After Griffin doubled to put runners at 2nd and 3rd, the Storm were able to end the threat with a strikeout. Griffin came out and had a shut down bottom of the 1st, with Evan making a good defensive play on a grounder to 1st to end the inning. After that, it was all Storm. Julian and Sam had solid debuts on the mound, but it wasn't enough to hold off the opponent. Game ball to Evan for solid defense, a key base hit, and a great effort today.
