| Team Summaries | Diamondbacks Notes: The D-Backs battled the first place Astros to within one run several times during the game. Defensive highlights include, Mac’s strong play at first base knocking the ball down for an unassisted out. Jake and Daniel executed a perfect pickle play for an out and Jack while catching throwing out a runner at second base. Pitching, Jake and Jack only surrendered two-four ball walks apiece during the game. On offense, Daniel hit a monster home run that was the D-Backs first home run over the fence and was shown on ESPN highlights for the next three days. Malcolm went 3 for 3 with a double and Carl had a big hit and motored around the bases for a triple. Astros Notes: |
