In a game that started out like a pitcher's duel, this game turned into a match of big innings. Both starters threw two scoreless innings. Christian Chaumette-Brown gave up no hits, and Noel Rodriguez allowed only a single. In the third the Desert Dogs put up seven runs with big hits from Rodriguez, John Tierney, and Harry Sharp. In the fourth they added three more. The Sea Dogs matched with back to back eight run innings on a pair of doubles by Alistair Song-White and Bobby DeMaren, and triples by Michael Hernandez and Tyler Finnie. DeMaren added three more RBI with a base clearing hit in the fifth. |
