Game Summary The Lookouts ended the season above .500 by grinding out a strong victory 10-4 in a tough game with the Canadians. The Lookouts pounded out 13 hits, while their pitchers gave up only two. The Canadians opened the scoring with 2 in the top of the 2nd inning, but the Lookouts came roaring back with 5 in the bottom of the frame. The Canadians chipped away at this lead with one run in each of the 3rd and 4th innings, but the Lookouts put it away with 3 in the 4th and 2 in the fifth. Sergio Klor de Alva slammed the door for the Lookouts by two shutout final innings, striking out the side both times.

For the Lookouts, Jason Lee made the pivotal pitching contribution. With two runs already in, he inherited a bases-loaded, none-out situation in the top of the second inning, and struck out the side without further score. He pitched another two strong innings, with a final line of 3 IP, 6 SO, 1 hit, 2 BB, 2 runs. The Lookouts pitchers combined for 15 strikeouts. The Lookouts offense was broadly spread across the lineup. The standout was Nicholas Capers, who hit two booming doubles to the fence in two plate appearances, scored twice, and drove in 2. To cap a grand day, Jason Lee was also 2-2, scoring once and driving in two.
