The Canadians and the Timber Rattlers both brought their bats to the field on Saturday, May 17, but they appeared to have forgotten their gloves. The ensuing slugfest lasted almost three hours with the Canadians coming away with a 25 – 13 victory. Eli Johnson, Alberto Fox and Alex Bretow each had three hits apiece. Fox, Bretow and Joshua Egger all had triples. Grant Barnard added a homerun to round out the Canadians offense. Alex Nachtwey had a triple and Kellan Turner two hits for the Timber Rattlers. Isaac Good, Kevin Huber and Dane VandeGuchte added key hits to fuel the Timber Rattlers counterattack. |
