| Game Summary | In a briskly played game on Wednesday the Knights fought off late inning comeback by the Diablos to record their forth straight win, 7 to 3. The Knights jumped out to an early lead with a 4 run first inning, highlighted by a two run triple off the bat of Jack Coppinger. Alex Musbach held the Diablos scoreless through two innings, recording six strike outs in the process. Addition power was provided by Alon August, with a bases clearing three run homerun in the third inning, building the Knights lead to 7 to 0. The Diablos, showing a never say die attitude came up just short in the forth after loading the bases. The Diablos then scored a run in the fifth and added two in the sixth, coming up just short of a great comeback. |
