With Alex Rollins pitching, the Grays dominated the game for the first two innings, taking an 8 to 2 lead into the top of the third. Up until that point the Grays pitching, defense and timely hitting were the story, with one of the few highlights for the visiting Knights being a lead off home run by Jack Coppinger. But the tables turned in the top of the third, when the Knights scored 15 runs to take a commanding lead. Alon August and Jonathan Heil shut down the Grays the rest of the way, leading to a final score of 18 to 8. |
