Game Summary This game was played at a very crisp pace, and was tied 0-0 after 2 innings, with less than 40 pitches thrown. The Scorpions took a 3 run lead in the top of the third, and the Lookouts replied with three of their own. The Scorpions broke it open with six runs in the top of the fourth, but the Lookouts replied with four (9-7). The Scorpions continued to add runs (2 in the fifth, 1 in the sixth), and the Lookouts could not keep up. In the bottom of the sixth the Lookouts loaded the bases, put one run across and brought the tying run to the plate with the bases still loaded. Scorpions' closer Danny Eager induced the Lookouts' batter to hit into a 1-3 ground-out to extinguish the sixth inning rally.

For the Lookouts, Sergio Klor De Alva pitched the first three innings, and held the Scorpions to 3 runs, getting 5 strike outs, issuing only one walk. Timesh Dhanji was 1-1 with the bat, his double scoring 3 RBIs. Timesh also walked and scored.

Scorpions' pitchers Zach Henrikson and Connor Smith combined for 8 strikeouts. Other Scorpion defensive highlights included a heads-up play by right fielder Cam Grigsby and strong infield play by Jeremy Kruger, Eager and Danny Maccarone. The Scorpion offense was powered by Pierce Naton (2 for 3 with a double and 1 RBI), Eager (3 for 4) and Nathan Mamuyac (2 RBI single).

The coaches agreed this was their best played game of the season.
