Game Summary On a glorious Sunday afternoon, in a clash of two undefeated AA teams, the Grays beat the Canadians 11 to 2. The Grays pitching corps, including starter Pete Stathakos and Joey Moreira in relief, held the Canadians to a shut until the bottom of the 5th. The Canadians had threatened in the 4th with two on and no outs, but the ace, Kai Henderson came on to strikeout the side one, two, three, ending any hopes of a rally. Pitching in middle relief for the Canadians, hard throwing Cameron Wong tried to hold off the Grays. He pitched a perfect third inning, retiring the side, but the Grays
stormed back to score in the fourth. In the fifth with two outs, Sam Zabb-Parmley hit a homerun to right field, to break the shutout and to score the Canadian's two runs for the day. In the sixth inning, the Canadians threatened to rally again with a runner on first and second with no outs. The Grays closer, Willie Devaney, threw a strikeout for the first out and Kai Henderson, playing first base, caught a fly ball and tagged
first to end the game with an unassisted double play.
