| Game Summary | The Knights showed offensive power, to go with solid pitching in a 14 to 5 win over the home team Ports. Marshall Lymburn lead a 14 hit attach, going 4 for 4 and driving it two runs. Jack Coppinger pitched well in his first outing of the seaon, giving up just two runs and striking out 6 in two innings of work. Ryan Blunenstein make a key defensive play on a line drive to center, holding the batter to one run, in what could have been a tide turning hit had it not been cut off. After striking out the side in the fifth, Alex Musbach was pulled for closed Jonathan Heil in the sixth when an errant throw banged into his knee. Heil closed out the game in releif, as darkness fell on the field. |
