Game Summary | The AA Cats won their third straight game of the season with an 18-5 victory over the Volcanoes. Outfielder Galen Emigh was the most productive Cat with a bat: He doubled twice, singled, and drove in a team-leading four runs. Gabriel D'Ambrosio tripled, doubled, walked twice, and drove in three runs. Shortstop Tori Burns doubled, singled, and drove in three runs. Second-sacker Luke Bowyer had three hits and drove in two runs. Maya Schacker was the most patient Cats hitter; she walked all four times at the plate, scored twice, and drove in a run. On the mound, D'Ambrosio again struck out all six batters he faced. Middle reliever Alex Levine had three strikeouts in two innings, and closer Nick Regent struck out the side, after loading the bases, to end the game. |
