Game Summary In a seesaw battle that saw the lead change hands four times before entering the sixth inning tied 6 to 6, the Lookouts pulled out a thrilling victory. In the top of the sixth, with the bases loaded, two outs
and a full count, Nicholas Capers cracked a fast ball to right center field, driving in the winning runs. Evan Williams struck out the side to close out the game.

The Knights were led by solid pitching from their first time pitchers, Cyrus Hutchinson, Alon August and Jonathan Heil. A stellar defensive play was turned in by Max Simon, who made a great stop and placed the tag on the Lookout runner advancing from second to third.

The Lookouts also had outstanding pitching from Sergio Klor de Alva, Jason Lee, and Evan Williams with two innings each, totalling 12 strikeouts between them. David Brown led the Lookouts offense, going 3-3 with two runs scored. Timesh Dhanji walked three times and scored twice, and Nicholas Capers was 3-3, scoring a run, and providing the pivotal hit.

Several veteran Double A watchers commented on the quality of play and the excitement of this opening day game.
