Game Summary | On a beautiful opening day, the AA Grays beat the Ports 14 to 6. Starting for the Ports, Zeke Copeland pitched two scoreless innings, with the Grays'going down 123 in the second inning. Coming on in relief in the 3rd inning, no outs with the bases loaded, the Grays' Willie Devaney, shut down the Ports and retired the side, without allowing a run. Pitching the last two innings, Kai Henderson closed out the game in the 6th inning with the aid of an excellent defensive play by John-William McGovern, who caught a sharply hit, curving line drive foul. |
