| Team Summaries | Storm Notes: The Storm jumped out to an early lead in this elimination contest, plating 5 runs in each of the 2nd and 3rd innings. Big hits by Bagels (2RBI ground rule double to left) and Butter (2RBI single to center). Only great defense by AdrianO and AmanS kept the score from being bigger! Butter relied on a simple recipe throw strikes and TRUST your stingy defense as he pitched 3 giving up just three base runners and a single run. Stardust caught a fly, Caveman and Elmer each threw out runners at first and Stardust in CF threw out a runner at home (nice tag, Skittles!) Whisper pitched the next 2, allowing a few more runners but just 2 singlets. Meanwhile, the Storm extended, Skittles singling home two and Axeman another. The Hot Rods wouldn't give up, and in the top of the 6th they staged a 4 run rally before Elmer got an out at home and a strikeout to end the inning and the game. Called Up: Axeman Hot Rods Notes: |
