| Team Summaries | Storm Notes: Midweek baseball at its finest - the Storm put up 8 runs in the first three innings, but failed to hold serve in the second half of the game while the HotRods started slow, but put up 10 runs in the final 3 innings of the game. Big hits by Tangerine (2 run fly to right) and Bagels (inning ending sacrifice). Perfect bunt laid down by Skittles. The loudest Storm hit of the day was probably Tiny's line drive (caught by the SS out of self defense!). Axeman also hit a ball hard at a fielder. The defense didn't sparkle as a group today, but the first out of the 2nd inning was made by Elmer who ranged from deep in the 2b hole all the way to the SS side of second base to snag a shallow fly that had 'ugly single' written all over it.
