Game Summary | The Royals defeated the White Sox in a very exciting playoff game by the score of 4-2. This game featured great pitching on both sides, with the Royal's Michael Gr. out dueling the White Sox' Michael G. Michael Gr. struck out 10, while allowing 6 hits and raising his season record to 8-1. The speedy base running of Michael Go helped the Royals jump out to an early lead, scoring 2 runs and 3 hits by Tommy O. The White Sox played superb defense in the field led by Andie R. The game came down to the final play, with the White Sox closing the score to 4-2 and threatening with the bases loaded. Chase MW lined a shot into the right center field gap, which Luke W. was able to run down, preserving the victory for the Royals.
