Team Summaries	Royals Notes: The Rangers completed the season sweep of the Royals defeating them 5-2 in a close game played in the twilight of Chabot. The Rangers jumped out to a 4 to 0 lead but the Royals tried to climb back in by loading the bases with no one out, but Mike M. proved to much, striking out the next 3 batters, keeping the Royals in check. For the Rangers Jacob C. had 3 hits, Mike M. and Alex R. each had two hits. Mike M picked up the win with two innings of relief work from Matt L. The Royals got a double from Zander Y and a triple from Luke W. John V. played great defense at second base before having to leave the game after being spiked on a close tag play at second base Rangers Notes: In a taut battle of the two division leaders, the Rangers' Mike M. won his 7th game of the season, allowing only one unearned run in 4 innings while striking out 7, including 3 after the bases were loaded with nobody out. Closer Matt L.earned the save with 2 strong frames. Jacob C. (3 hits,run,RBI), Alex R. (single,double,run) and Mike (2 hits,walk,2 runs) carried the offense. The Royals' Zander Y. allowed only one run in 3 innings, and also had a double and an RBI at the plate.
