| Team Summaries | Red Sox Notes: The Red Sox came out swinging, and great things happened as they soundly defeated the Brewers 10-0! In the first, Michael singled, Eric doubled him home, and then Keenan singled home the second run. In the third, the Red Sox picked up another run on a leadoff single by Nikoh, who stole second, and then came home on another single by Michael! In the fourth with the bases loaded from an error and two walks, Alexander broke the game open with a single to drive in two runs! Alex grounded out to bring in another run, and Alexander scored from third on an error. In the fifth, Michael led off with a triple, came home on an error that put Eric on first, and then Jeremy pounded the ball over the left field fence for a home run, the Red Sox first home run of the season! Other players getting hits were Noah and Matt. Jake laid down a beautiful sacrifice bunt in the second. Noah pitched 5 outstanding innings, giving up only one hit while striking out 9! Alexander closed out the game pitching the sixth and holding the Brewers scoreless! The Red Sox played errorless defense! The Red Sox are now 5-6 for the season! Brewers Notes: |
