Team Summaries	Royals Notes: The A's and Royals got in a game on wet Friday evening. The game featured two of the leagues top pitchers with Tommy O. pitching for the Royals and Charlie S. going for the A's. Tommy O. pitched well allowing only 2 hits over 4 innings but walked 4 batters. Zander Y. came on in relief and gave up only 2 hits but the defense was shaky and the A's entered the bottom of the 6th inning with a commanding lead of 7-2. The never say die Royals immediately loaded the bases and Mark 'Big Fly' B. proceeded to clear the bases with a grand slam over the left field fence. With the Royals poised to clutch victory from defeat Seth B. proceeded to retire 3 batters in a row preserving a very exciting victory for the A's. Tyre M. and Mark B. both had two hits for the Royals. Josh F. had a hit an RBI for the A's A's Notes: Charlie S and Seth B teamed up to beat the Royals in the best defensive game for the A's this season. The A's scored one run in both the 1st and 2nd innings with RBI's going to Josh F and Johnny H. 2 more runs scored in the 4th including Charlie S who led off the inning with a double. Finally the A's ended their scoring with 4 well timed hits in the 5th including an RBI by Andrew G and a 2 out double by Seth B scoring Andrew G and Gabe F. Those insurance runs were needed as the Royals Mark B knocked a grand slam to bring the Royals within 1 run with no outs in the bottom of the 6th. The A's kept their cool and retired the next 3 batters on 5 pitches to end the game.
