Osprey Notes:
It was an incredibly well played game between the Ospreys and the Grays. Both teams went toe to toe for 6 strong innings with some incredible defensive plays and great pitching from both sides.

The Ospreys got another strong pitching performance from Micah T. They also got the defensive play of the year from Max R who speared a line drive at SS and doubled the Grays runner at second to keep the game at a 1-1 tie in the 2nd inning. Early on, Tyler's strong pitching helped the Grays get an edge. Led by the bats of Zach and Dominic the Grays took a 6-1 lead in the third.

Torin V. took the mound in the 4th for the Ospreys and had his best outing of the year. The Ospreys fed off his energy and rallied behind him with a home run from Joseph H, a triple from Gordon D and a gritty game tying single from Sam D in the top of the 5th.

In the top of the 6th the Ospreys could only muster one baserunner off Zach L who pitched brilliantly for 3 strong innings. But a key steal and hard baserunning by Naeem B helped the Ospreys score the go ahead run.

In the bottom of the 6th, with the game in his hands, Torin V came through in the clutch, shutting down a tough Grays team.
