Rockhounds Notes:
Today was a tight game that had enough tension and drama to keep everyone on the edge of their chairs. The Rockhound pitchers were a little cold today but managed to keep pitching themselves out of jams. Twice starting pitcher Marco struck out a batter for the third out with runners at 2nd and 3rd. Matthew, Ian and closer Jack pitched the rest of the game. Jack decided to copy Marco and struck out the last batter with the potential tying run at 3rd and the potential winning run at 2nd. Whew!

The player however, that provded the Rockhounds with the biggest moment today, and the winning margin, was EJ. With the bases loaded he CRUSHED a ball to deep right that cleared the bases! He had a smile from ear to ear after that monster blast!

We play two this weekend so we'll be out there again tomorrow.
