Islanders Notes:
With a week of thinking about their recent loss and another practice under their belts, Team Haka was eager for this game!

The bats were hot early. Doctor laced a hard shot to first, which was played cleanly for an out, but it set the tone. 'Duke followed with a double, Wubba and RollerCoaster and Mumbles with singles. The Rays responded - plating 4 on a series of walks in the first as Doctor struggled to get his new power mechanics to target up. He got out of the inning, tho and hit a double in the second to pace the offense.

A series of 4 more Islander pitchers threw wonderfully - holding the Rays to nothing more than a few scattered walks and groundouts. Tomato and David especially threw clean, quick innings. David's included two comebackers on the mound, and Skittles made a nice play on defense as well.

The Islanders broke it open in the third when a run scoring walk by Jumbo and back to back catcher's interference calls helped score 4. Lai's hard grounder in the fourth was a run scoring fielder's choice, and a picture perfect bunt by Wubba loaded the bases in the 5th and led to a 5 run rally capped with David's blast to right center.
