| Team Summaries | Cannons Notes: Cats got off to a fast start and put up 2 runs in the first, Cannons came roaring back with a 5 run inning, then added 3 more in the bottom of the second for an 8-3 lead. Cats never quit and tied it in the top of the 3rd.at 8-8. Cannons added 2 more and watched while Alex Bernius put on a pitching clinic throwing 3.66 innings on 55 pitches. Ty Hunter came in with 2 out and 2 on in the top of the 6th and closed out with a 3-pitch out. Great game by both teams. HUGE call out to Scott Windels for arriving home to learn that no home plate ump had signed up for the game, rushing down to ump from the top of the third. Another huge callout for the Cats Dad who called a flawless 2 innings to allow the game to begin. Cats Notes: |
