| Team Summaries | Canadians Notes: Weekday baseball means homework is put off as the cleats are put on! Ginsu took the ball for the Canucks and put up a couple early zeroes. The Canadians batters took an inning to warm up to the idea of evening baseball, but in the second, singles by Spike (bunting), Condor, Slinky, Marshmallow and Fingers sandwiched a sacrifice by Ginsu for an old fashioned 3-run rally. Ginsu would provide a more conventional crooked number in the third with a 2-run bomb into the RF trees. Ninja hit the loudest outs of the day, lacing 2 balls directly at Monarch fielders. The Monarchs would back up their royal monicker with 2 runs in the third and a 5 run rally in the 4th to make a game of it. After a strong 5th from Condor, Fingers came in to close in the 6th. MattR had different ideas, laying down a perfect bunt and stealing his way to third. A comebacker plated the tying run before Fingers struck out the final two batters he faced. In the bottom of the 6th, Spike came to the plate with 2 outs and the winning run at 2nd base. He worked his way to a full count before slapping a walk off double down the RF foul line!
