Classic Spring weather at Caldecott - Gametime temp 81, postgame snacks at 64 degrees...

The Canucks were short on pitching coming off Thursday's extra innings affair, but Teddy Bear stepped up to provide 3 full in well under his limit! Even before that, Ninja made the start and armed with a 1-0 lead he buzzed thru his inning in just 10 pitches.

The Canadians opened up a tight game with a 5-spot in the third. RBIs were had by Condor, Grandpa, Fingers and Marshmallow, who ended the inning by wearing a painful bruise on his back. On the mound, Teddy Bear did more than throw strikes - in the bottom of the 4th, he snagged a line drive ticketed for CF (or possibly his spleen) and calmly turned it into an L-1-3-DP. Later, Fingers was helped out by strong late inning defense by Slinky and Naptime.

Random highlights from the land of Syrup: Ginsu continues to put balls in play with some heat, Houdini slid in safe at 1st on a close play, and Spike bailed out a teammate by covering first just in case.
