Great weather, great game! Midseason pitching ruled the day on both sides, with very little loud contact (note - friends and family of Bamboo need not read that last line, as he almost knocked the scoreboard down with a 2 run triple in the third). Elapsed gametime: 1:35

For the Canadians, Des threw two very strong to open, facing 8 and collecting 5 FPS and 5 strikeouts. Marshmallow and Spike each threw their first frames of the season, and both faced more nerves than Lookouts. Slinky struck out the side in the 5th, giving the Canucks a chance at the plate in the top of the 6th.

In the top of the last, Condor reached on a bloop to left and Fingers advanced him. Slinky sacrificed him home to close the gap, but the Canadians couldn't make a bigger dent.
