| Team Summaries | St. Patrick - Darling Notes: There were some misunderstandings with the referees regarding rules (pressing). Also: in the past, we've had a couple of refs who did a good job of 'teaching' the girls, rather than just making the calls. Today's officials did nothing like that today -- just blew the whistle and make the signal for whatever violation occurred (traveling, double dribble, etc). For young players (especially girls), it would be great if more time were spent by the officials helping educate the players on the rules and why a violation occurred. St. Matthew - Collins Notes: |
