| Team Summaries | Stars Notes: Yale started the Stars off with their first 1-2-3 inning of the season, a bit of a relief after a lot of runs early our last outing. The Cats played well and went ahead in the second, a lead the Stars weren't able to take over. New rookie pitchers Leo C, Zach L and Grayson B all played well. Grayson struck out the first two batters he faced. Leo C continued his hot hitting with a solid hit that had him end up on 3rd base after a few throws around the infield by the defense. Kalen W got a double play after dropping a ball that was just a bit too hard to play to call it an infield fly rule ball - but a close one. We look forward to playing the Cats again, our teams had a great time and we were well matched tonight! Cats Notes: |
