| Team Summaries | Pelicans Notes: On a GREAT day for baseball, the Pelicans and Diamondbacks showed up ready to play, and play they did. BrandenS pitched a complete game, and the Pelicans gave him great support, plating at least one run in each inning. The D'Backs hung tough, keeping within 2 runs until the Pels broke it open in the 5th: Branden led off the inning with a walk; stole 2nd despite a pitchout, and came home on BryceC's ground rule double. GogoC followed with a double of his own, and came around on TaharkaT's sacrifice one out later. The Pelicans made some nice plays in the field, led by Bryce's glove work at third base and Gogo's running catch of a sinking liner to end the 6th.
