Marlins Notes:
The Marlins bounced back from their Saturday opener and played typical Marlins baseball. Aggressive baserunning, hitting and solid pitching led the way as the Marlins cruised to a 14-4 victory. Steak Sandwich started and got his first win of the season. He struggled early, walking the first three, but settled down and retired the Cubbies 4, 5 and 6 hitters to keep the Cubbies scoreless in the first. The Marlins opened it up with big hits from S-Dubb, Fro-Do, Jobu and Shaq-Daddy, scoring multiple times in the 2nd and 3rd innings.

After a strong 5 from Steak, Kleiner pitched a scoreless 6th and Jobu closed the game with a topsy-turvy 7th that ended with the bases full of Cubbies.
