Reds Notes:
On a freezing evening classic that only a polar bear could love, it took 9 innings for the Twins to beat the Reds 4-3. The weather didn't impact a Twins ensemble of Anthony V., Anthony H. and Kemper H. as they pitched brilliantly. Not to be outdone, Reds ace Ben Z. struck out 10 in 5.3 innings of no-hit baseball. Down 3-1 in the 7th inning, the Reds mounted a rally that culminated with the fleet Robert D. scoring the tying run on Jon C.'s two out liner to centerfield.
It stayed tied until the bottom of the 9th inning when Paul R. hit a one out liner over a drawn in outfield to score Anthony V. with the winning run. Twins Anthony H.(SS,P) put on a clinic in the field with a variety of defensive gems.
