Wonzen stole the ball with 8 seconds left in the game and passed to Zack Karch who hit the game winning shot with only 4 seconds to play. Karch finished with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 steals, Gavin McLaren scored 3 key points, Keelan Good had 7 points and 7 rebounds. Henry Palmer added 6 points, and Max Onaga completed the scoring with a big basket in the 4th quarter. Connor Lynch had 2 rebounds and played great defense. The Heat kept the pressure on to the final seconds before losing a close one. With great play by Ranen Chang on the boards, the strong defense of Xavier Fox and ball stealing by Aaron Garcia along with all-star play of Jaylen Ison dazzling the crowd with incredible dribbling skills kept the Heat in the game which traded leads several times to the very end. |
