Pelicans Notes:
The Pels and A's took to PHS's Witter field Saturday afternoon hoping to shake the rust off after a 2 week Easter layoff.

Dallas was wild, but effective. 5 walks and a single over 2 innings, but he stranded runners left and right and only allowed a lone run.

The third was disastrous for the Pels. In the top half, JoshSV set the down on a quick dozen pitches, and in the bottom half the A's put up 3 to extend their lead to 4-1.

The Pels cherrypicked one back in the top of the 4th when Weed walked and came all the way around to score unassisted. Mulligan scored another in the 5th on PK's sacrifice grounder, but it was too little too late.

Kudos to Mulligan for playing after dental surgery the day before, to Malibu for fighting thru an ill spell, and to Christmas and PK for outstanding pitchng performances.
