Game Summary | The Scrappers ran past the Devil Rays 14-9 on Saturday, jumping out with a 10 run outburst in the first two innings. The Devil Rays settled down with strong middle relief from Cole Isip, Colman Adams and Trevor Olofson giving the Rays offense time to get back in the game. Key hits by Trevor Olofson and Levi Myers - plus a defensive gem by left fielder Lucas Hanshaw - brought the Rays to within 5 in the bottom of the fourth inning, but the Scrappers clamped down the rest of the way for the victory. The Scrapper offense was balanced as all 9 starters hit safely with multi-hit games by Aaron Fried, Jules Choquette, Reilly Keith and Michael Homertgen. Dominic Alvarez, Reilly Keith, Emma Homertgen and Michael Homertgen each had 2 RBI's for the Scrappers. Max Sivolella, Aaron Fried, Michael Homertgen and Koji Ky-Fries all pitched well for the Scrappers. |
