| Game Summary | The Dragons (5-2) held onto sole possession of 1st place by defeating the 2nd place Devil Rays (3-4) 12-6 with aggressive base-running from Zach Sippel, Ethan Kleinman, Jonas Yee and Jared White and lights out pitching from Simon Lunche and Miles Harris late in the game. Jackson Schnetz and Nicholas Kleiber's hot bats continue to fuel the Dragons. The Devil Rays started the game strong with key defensive plays in the outfield in the top of the 1st inning, then jumping out to a 3-1 lead with key hits from Sean Senn and Colman Adams in their bottom-half. Trevor Olofson and Sean Senn kept the Dragons within reach with solid pitching in the middle innings. Sawyer Thompson and Yonim Schweig also kept the Rays hopes alive throughout the game with their defense and hitting |
