| Game Summary | The Osprey's Eamon B's 2-run triple in the bottom of the fifth broke open a 5-5 tie, and Gregory K gave up 1-hit in 1.2 innings to close out an 8-5 win over the Devil Rays in a NOLL playoff game. The Devil Rays had tied the game in the top of the 5th on Max W's dramatic 2-run home run just inside the foul pole in right field. The error free game began with Leo N and Johnny F battling on the mound and the Osprey taking a 4-1 lead. The Devil Rays closed it to 4-2 in the 3rd when Zane J crushed a double into right center. The Osprey's winning rally was ignited when Patrick T led off the 5th with a single. The fifth inning also saw two excellent defensive plays. Left-handed third-baseman Ethan K throwing out the fleet-footed F right after W's home run to stop the Devil Rays momentum, and Olivia S' diving catch in right field with the bases loaded and 2-out to stop the Osprey. |
