| Game Summary | In a tight well played game the NOLL # 3 seed Muckdogs held on for a 4-3 win over the #2 seed Islanders in the opening round of the AAA playoffs. The Muckdogs jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 2nd on hits by Elan S and Leo F. The Islanders bounced back with 2 in the bottom of the second on consecutive hits by Kyle O, Dylan A and Jesse S and tied it up in the 3rd when Jack D knocked in Scott O from 2nd base after the first of his two Towering doubles. The Muckdogs went ahead for good in the top of the 4th when a S ground out pushed across Lucas F with the winning run from 3rd. The Muckdogs relied on terrific defense and stellar pitching from Cole F and Tom R to keep the hard hitting Islanders in check. | ||
