| Game Summary | Diamondback Nkosi D pitched a stellar one hit, seven strikeout performance into the 5th inning against a tough Rivercats lineup. He was backed up by solid defensive plays by Jordan M, Colston M, Matt R, Jack E and Patrick H. Peter W and R applied tags on stealing Rivercats to end scoring threats. M came in as the closing pitcher and provided key relief keeping the Rivercats off the scoreboard. D led the D'backs offensive efforts by pounding a first inning three run homer. Marcus continued to be hot at the plate going 3 for 4 including a double. Matt R contributed a key single. Excellent pitching by the Rivercats held the Diamondbacks to only 3 hits and 1 run over the last 5 innings. Catcher Aaron B and half the Rivercat team caught M in a 8 or 9 toss pickle between 3rd and home to end the Diamondback 6th inning. | ||
