| Game Summary | In a long game Sunday morning, the Rivercats and the Rainiers went through 10 different pitchers. After 3 innings the Rainiers led 5-4 behind hits by Riley J, David B and Jakob P. Aggressive, smart base running by the Rainiers generated several runs. After a scoreless 4th inning due to excellent pitching by Adrien S by the Rivercats and Sam H for the Rainiers, the scoring pace picked up in the 5th with the Rivercats getting 5 with 5 singles and 6 stolen bases and the Rainiers getting 3 with 3 singles and 7 stolen bases. With the score at 9-8 in the top of the 6th, the Rivercats bats got hot with 4 singles and 2 doubles so the entire line up scored for a final of 20-8 after Rivercat Liam B shut down the Rainiers, in the bottom of the 6th. | ||
