Game Summary | The Islanders came from behind to defeat the Sounds 10-7 on Saturday. The Sounds took an early lead with two runs in the second inning and one in the third. The Islanders roared back in the fourth with a double by Alex B and singles by Jack D and Jonathan D. Aggressive base stealing by the Islanders led to five runs. The Sounds fought back with three in the fifth. The Islanders answered with a single by Jesse S, a triple by Vasco V and continued fearless base stealing that brought in five runs in the fifth. The Sounds fought back and scored one in the sixth, but Islander closing pitcher Tommy V halted a further attack to ensure the win. |
