| Game Summary | The Osprey took a 7-5 lead into a memorable 6th inning that found them one strike from a win. But with Muckdog's Tom R and Jack D on base by singles, Darius S hammered a ball to the wall, driving them in and scoring on an overthrow to give the Muckdogs an 8-7 lead. The Osprey put two men on to start the bottom of the sixth, but the Muckdogs' Cole F then struck out the Osprey's #3 and #4 hitters. Down to their last strike, Osprey Ben S singled to tie the game and then Blaine T drilled a rocket left field for the game winner. Eamon B (2 IP) and Gregory K (4 IP, 7Ks) pitched ably for the Osprey, as did Gavin L (3 IP) and F (3 IP, 6 Ks) for the Muckdogs. Ben P made a fine defensive put-out for the Osprey and all nine Muckdogs had at least one hit. | ||
