| Game Summary | The Muckdogs shut down the the Rivercats Sunday 6-1 in a game that featured sparkling defense and dominant pitching by both teams. Lucas F led the Muckdogs with a complete game, 4-hitter for the win. F kept the 'cats off the scoreboard with the help of great fielding plays by Cole F, Darius S, Jack D and the entire Muckdog team. In 26 at bats, the Rivercats hit the ball fair 24 times. At the plate F helped his cause with 2 hits and was joined by the clutch hitting of Patrick D, Jack P and David L. After scrapping together 6 runs over the first 3 innings, the Muckdogs were shut down for the remainder of the game by Rivercat pitchers Aidan O and Liam B. Rivercat catcher Nate S nailed 2 Muckdogs attempting to steal 2nd to help keep the game close. | ||
