| Game Summary | The Muckdogs outlasted the Sounds 3-2 in a classic pitchers duel. The Muckdogs jumped to an early 2-0 lead in the 1st on 3 base hits including Gavin L's 2 run single. Sounds pitcher Simon L effectively kept the Muckdogs off balance limiting them to only 2 more hits for the balance of the game. L shut out the Sounds on no hits over the first 3 innings and gave way to Graham B who picked up the win by allowing only one hit in his three innings of work. The Sounds tied the game up in the 4th when Elias R and Jeremy S each stole home. Jack D scored the winning run for the Muckdogs in the 5th with a heads up steal of home. The game was marked by stellar defense including 6 assists by Sounds shortstop Patrick G. | ||
