| Game Summary | The Islanders took a 4-3 lead after a tumultuous first inning fueled by the first of Scott O's three hits (3B, 2B, 1B) and an RBI single from Jerry F. But Osprey starter Axel B settled down and the Osprey took a 7-4 lead in the 3rd with hard hits from Leo N (3B), Jacob G (1B), Ben S (2B) and Peter C (1B) and extended it to 12-6 after 5. But the Islanders mounted a furious comeback in the sixth, scoring four runs off of key hits from Tommy V, O, and triple drilled to the wall by Jack D. But the rally was snuffed when Osprey first baseman Blaine T dug out a throw in the dirt for the final out. | ||
