Game Summary | Highlights: The Osprey gunning down a runner at second on an attempted steal in the first -- a play that is rarely made in this league, and is especially rare this early in the season . The Diamondbacks' fielding in the first two innings, getting out of two jams with a total of just one run. In the first, Colston M. tied the all-world record for assists in an inning, with three, including a really pretty play to end the inning. The Osprey's hitting -- they were swinging and connecting consistently. For the Osprey: Leo N. -- 2 innings of no-hit, 5 strikeout shutout ball on the mound, and 5 RBIs at the plate and Patrick T. diving for first base on an infield single. For the Diamondbacks Chris S., who had never set foot on a baseball field before this year, firing the ball beautifully during an inning plus in an emergency pitching appearance. |
