Game Summary | Dragons (visitors) at Islanders (home) On a cold (frosty?) morning the Dragons and Islanders squared off for the second game of the season.The Dragons get 3 runs to start and have bases loaded with no outs when Tommy V. settles down and strikes out the next three batters to get out of the jam. Dragon's starter AJ S. gets the Islanders 1-2-3, striking out two. Islanders come back and score 2 runs in the 2nd. The 3rd inning was scoreless, but again the Dragons loaded the bases but couldn't capitalize with pitcher Jack D. striking out the side. The Dragons load the bases again in the 4th, this time Tiger B. steps in and rips a bases clearing triple into center field (3for3 w/6 RBIs). Two batters later Andre N. drives in two more runs with a one out double to end the inning. The Islanders score 1 in the bottom half. After 5 innings, Dragons up 8-3. Top of the 6th the Dragons bat through the order, putting up 7 runs. Bottom half, the Islanders start a rally getting 2 runs. With two outs and a runner in scoring position closer Zhi M. (Dice-Z) gets the strike out to end the game. |
