Game Summary The Orioles finally brought some sunshine to their season of injury-riddled frustration, exploding against the Red Sox for an 18-2 victory. Led by a brilliant pitching performance by their ace, BryceC, the O's exploded for nine runs in the third inning and never looked back. BryceC was masterful, tossing perhaps the finest game seen this season, allowing no hits, no runs, one walk, and striking out 13 (out of a possible 15) in five innings. He was dominant, striking out the side in the first, third and fifth innings. NolanH called and caught an excellent game behind the plate. The Orioles offense was led by SeanB (3/5, 4 runs), WillyE (2/5, 4 RBIs) and BryceC himself, (3/4, 3 RBIs). The Sox, playing hard until the end, broke through for two in the sixth on a line single by JasonS. NikohH played excellent defense at shortstop for the Sox.
