On Sunday, the Tigers pulled off their second upset in as many days by beating the second seeded White Sox, 6-2. Pitching lead the way for the Tigers again. This time it was TorreM pitching six strong innings for the Tigers. The Tigers eased out to a two run lead after two innings, but the White Sox came storming back with two runs of their own in the third frame. The Tigers squeaked out runs in the fourth and fifth innings to give them a 4-2 lead. In the sixth inning, after a BobbyS single, KevinS executed a sacrifice bunt which lead to two more runs for the Tigers. JordanR lead the way for the White Sox, pitching four innings and getting two hits.
