The Tigers surprised the Brewers in a first round playoff game, 7-2. The Tigers were lead by another strong pitching performance by StuartJ. Stuart gave up two runs in the first inning, but held the hard hitting Brewers squad scoreless for the remainder of the game. Tigers hitting was led by TorreM and KevinO who each had two hits. Kevin also hit his fourth home run of the season in the fifth inning. A towering, two run shot to centerfield to push the Tigers lead to 6-2. Brewer pitcher SpencerW survived some porous defense in the opening frame, and went on to pitch five tough innings for the Brewers. Keeping the game close until the fifth. Brewers hitting was lead by Kani Crabb who had one hit and two walks and Spencer who had two hits.
