| Game Summary | The Astros came from behind to defeat the Sounds 20 to 9 at OAB #2. Astros pitchers Brandon Cruz and Mike Knutson held the Sounds to one run over the last four innings. Brian Trowbridge and Josh Stein each contributed key singles extending Astro rallies. Mark Bennett had two extra base hits and made an impressive diving catch of a sure base hit in the top of the sixth inning. The Sounds were led by Matt Sanford who made one of the best catches seen this year in Little League robbing an Astro's batter of a sure triple or home-run with his catch of a sinking line drive in center field, Kevin Rosario with several fine plays at 2nd Base, including an inning ending double play, Ryan Nyberg with 3 fine innings of pitching, and David Black with a line drive triple to deep left field. |
